IN THESE STREETS...

A very simple outfit in the making. I loved the simplicity of the skirt, therefore I paired it with a white Tee and a leather jacket to add a bit of edge and threw on my tall boots.

Can't wait to wear this skirt again, paired with chunky knits and long sleeve bodysuits. I'm here for it all.....

Girl in the City

This has been the best Fall weather yet. While the leaves change colour, polluting the side walks, and the smell of pumpkin spice latte's fill the air, it's a quick reminder that Fall is here! Usually this time of year I would be bundled up in the coziest knits that I own, but looks like summer is here to stay for just a wee bit longer.

As of lately, I'm addicted to everything pumpkin which is odd, because I'm not a huge pumpkin lover but I do enjoy a good ole home made pumpkin pie. Have you guys tried the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks?  Oh man if you haven’t well RUN... and tell them I sent you!

I threw on an oversized vest for this look, a cropped tank, and a pair of jean shorts. Nothing spectac, just your basics. My trusty big hoop earrings and a red lip helped me pull this look together.
(witch by the way I am low key loving, because I usually shy away from anything red when it involves makeup)
Theres something about red lips and sleek hair, this is a simple yet classic style we can all channel.

I should warn you in advance that my next couple posts ALL feature Red lips.

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend, now lets be great and step into Monday with fearlessness, positivity and a smile.

Simplicity

I am totally digging this off shoulder trend, anything to accentuate my shoulders and décolletage.

It just works. Fashion is a funny thing, it's risky, safe, bold, subtle, trendy, vintage . It's whatever you want it to be, and with the off shoulder looks trending right now I think its here to stay. Just like how skinny jeans became a classic wardrobe staple, or your classic white button up. These are classics for a reason.

Outfit: H&M- top Zara- jeans and heels, ALDO- mini purse Spectacle sunnies- Oliver peoples

I've labelled this a classic of mine because it works for literally anybody. I've seen the cutest little girls (toddlers) wearing this style and believe it or not I've spotted a few grandmas too!

Did I mention the bell sleeves on this top. How cute are they? LOVE the extra added detail with the tie strings.

This bag is a new favourite of mine and has been my side kick for the past few weeks. Reminds me of the Mini Dior purses,  which one day I hope to add to my collection. I purchased the inspired look by ALDO. They totally nailed it.  iIt also comes with a longer strap, if you plan on wearing it ass a cross body bag.

Modern Day Tux

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians and for those of you who have not yet celebrated well Happy thanks giving in advance.

Reflecting back on my Thanksgiving, I have so much to be thankful for. A lot more than we even know or expect. While emptying my remains into the trash, a feeling of guilt came over me. Was I taking for granted what so many people wished they had?

Growing up in my household, we were not allowed to leave the dinner table until we ate everything off our plates. Maybe that was our parents way of teaching us not to be wasteful and instead be thankful for what we did have. Too young to understand the motive behind their actions, I must say
"I GET IT NOW"

It's like I had tunnell vision all these years. Simple things like running water, clothes and the luxury of being able to swipe a card to pay for things that we probably 90% of the time don't need. How can you think you're taking this for granted when its the norm right? Well sadly we do without even noticing.

I am not here to be Mother Theresa but I do want to spread awareness and to give back where ever I can. It puts a smile on my face to know that I was able to contribute to my kids thanksgiving Food Drive, and help someone that is less fortunate than I am. The recognition is NEVER my goal. I think with good work and being true to yourself recognition will come after and present itself at the right time.

Now that I got that off my chest..

This Black & White look reminded me of a Tuxedo, but with a feminine twist to it. You'll know I'm a sucker for anything off shoulder so I had too.

Hermes Orange

The weather here in Toronto, has been unbelievably hot for September so I decided to take full advantage of it. A photo shoot followed by the most delicious food, at a near by cafe and a BONUS view on the waterfront.

The vibrant Orange colour of this jumper, instantly reminded me of the Hermes box. (hence my post title) I snagged this jumper from my local F21 about a year ago and sadly just now got around to wearing it!  Honestly I'm surprised it still fits, as I must confess I haven't been keeping up with my daily exercise routines. I'm just not that type of girl.  Of course it's easy to yell "GOALS" at the perfect shaped, chiseled Ab, IG babe on your timeline, however you see the way my life is set up...I'm just not about that life. Ill go hard for a week, maybe even two!! but physically and Mentally I was done before I even started. You know what they say "ABS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN" so in that case it shouldn't be that hard finding things to eat right?

Outfit: Forever21- Jumper, Zara - heels

These shoes were also purchased on sale for a whopping $15. (purchased 2 yrs ago) And yes I am just now wearing them for the first time. What would Carrie Bradshaw do? HA

I wanted so badly to pair this look with my oversized denim jacket however it was way to hot for that. Maybe next time.
