I HEART YOU

Hey Guys! Friday couldn't have came any sooner! The weather here in Toronto is terrible and I long for spring! I envy those that are able to wear shorts and skirts this time of year! 

A lot has been going on for me lately, I had lots of fun celebrating my birthday with Family and Friends! Pics coming soon! 

Ive been living in this silk blouse lately! How cute are these hearts? I can't wait to wear it with my vest, leather pants, and some bright coloured pumps! Ive been craving printed tops lately! This time around I paired this top with my trusty skater skirt (It works when all fails even on a cold snowy day! :) and added a pop of color to my lips! Ive really been coming out of my comfort zone lately by playing around in bold lip colours!

Can you tell that I was freezing my butt off in these pics? LOL As cold as it gets here in Toronto I REFUSE to put restrictions on my wardrobe! Its totally normal to wear skirts in the winter time! It might not be your thing, but it works for me! On another note I've finally aded a coloured coat to my collection! I own tons of black coats and it only felt right to give this one a new home! Next on my list is a cobalt blue, teal, charcoal grey, and tan coat! 

SN: Isn't crazy how your wish list never ends? The more you cross out the more items you add, which defeats the purpose of even having a wish list LOL right? agree or not?

Hey Y'all! Hope everyone is enjoying the start of their week! Its been terribly COLD here in Toronto! Its crazy how in less than a week I went from open toe heels to booties! I am in love with this hat! How chic is it? And this Oversized camo sweater is super warm! 

I paired the sweater with my fur vest to keep extra toasty!

I'M BAAACK...

Out with the old and In with the New! Its been real quiet on my neck of the woods lately, Now that I'm back I hope that I can stir up some noise again! Yesss I know I'm late as hell, but better late than never, I just want to wish all my friends here at SNSL a Happy and Prosperous New Year! And for all the continued support, even when I've been slacking!!! Boy oh Boy have these past few months been a rough one! So much has happened that I would need to write a "Tell All book" Isn't that what everyone's doing now? LOL Anyways Happy To be back and with God holding my hand I know this year will be my year! 

Believe it or not I havent been shopping much lately! Tortured by the SALE signs hung up in the windows of my favourite stores, I managed to stay strong! *Pat on the back* At the moment I'm obsessing over printed pants *baroque especially*, Metallic footwear, Oversized sweaters, skater skirts,  leather and Oxblood anything! This winter hasn't been a bad one so far, I mean Im still wearing open toe shoes!  *Im not complaining* 

It was hard choosing which blazer I wanted to wear that day so I took both with me! I ended up wearing the Mustard blazer which is why I decided to take pics of both looks!

Madam In a Midi

I was a bit hesitant on posting these pics! Dont ask me why! But I've been asked by emails to post the look! For those who follow me on Instagram, this look is not new to you! So here it is!

I got a few stares that day, and I even had someone tell me that my outfit looked very June Ambrosish! I never really seen that until she pointed it out! Well I guess i'll just take the compliment, seeing that the woman can dress her but off! In true June fashion she would have completed this look with her trusty birkin, round signature framed glasses, and a turban or floppy hat! HA 

I bought this midi skirt sometime last year and at first I loved it! That always seems to be my problem though! Fast forward a year later and I'm not feeling it as much as I once did! Why did I buy it again? OH YES!!! because I envisioned it with another piece in my closet and thought it would make a FAB outfit! I hate that I get over clothes so quickly!

Denim on Denim

Hey All I'm finally back! Its been a week and a half now since I've been back from a much needed vacay! I would do it again in a heartbeat! Sorry y'all but mama needs time off too! Nothing beats relaxing on the beach, room service and bikini's! HA 

Balancing a full time job,kids, home and a blog makes it extremely hard to post as much as you guys would like me to! Believe me I'm trying! I've noticed that I've lost a few followers in the process due to me not posting as much! I cannot please everybody, but I do want to say Thank You, to all of you thats been there from the start and those that came along the way. So with that said I'm not going to apologize for having a life but I will try my best to post at least twice a week!

Finally my search for a denim chambray is over! I can finally cross it off my list! For the price spent, the quality and fit is perfect! Wish I had discovered it earlier! I've got my eye on the dotted chambray as well, similar to the one worn in this post! I'll definitely be making a trip back to old Navy! 

Ive always loved the denim on denim look! If done right it always works! These boots are on heavy rotation, and not for a minute do I feel sorry for wearing the heck out of them LOL They're made for walking! I completed the look with gold accessories and my go to aviator glasses!

ONE LAST TIME

Hey Y'all, Fall is officially here and I'm feeling like I didn't get the memo! With this unpredictable weather we've been having lately I thought we'd have a summery kind of fall (if that makes any sense) but with the rapid drops in tempertaure Fall is here to stay! Brrrrrr None the less I'm ready to break out my blazers, leather, furs, and scarves! 

I need to step up my layering game this fall! Its easy to throw on go to pieces but layering in my opinion personalizes your outfit a bit more, and allows you to utillize both your summer and fall pieces! I love Blaire from Atlantic Pacific Check her out if you haven't. The girl can layer her ass off! LITERALLY!!!!

I love this skirt that I purchased from Zara last year! I regrett not getting it in black as well, And it was on sale too! I get mad just thinking about it, now im back on the hunt to find a similar skirt! I decided to wear my skirt One last time, bare legs and all! Next time i'll be wearing them with tights! I completed my look with my jewel tone burgandy blouse!

The shoes I purchased this year from the annual shoe sale that I regularly attend! I've worn them quite a few times but never got to capture their real beauty! Vince Camuto never disappoints!  *_*
