BAD HAIR DAYS, TARTAN & PLAID

I feel like I should be reintroducing my self again, since it has been a while lol. Hope everyone is looking forward to the christmas holidays and festivities that it brings. Im huge on entertaining and christmas decor. Filling up on egg nog and black cake. ( A west indian tradition) Its also the only time of year I get to see my old man!

Im not a big fan of plaid, but at $29 how could I leave it? After wearing this blazer for the third week, I might have to say I've had a change of heart. Best of all I didn't have to find that out the expensive way! At just $29.99 I think this was a great piece to add to my closet.

Bad hair days calls for snapbacks, and thats exactly what I did! *shrugs*

COAT LADY

It's that time of year again. As the temperature drops, we struggle to remain chic and warm all at the same time! (quite a challenge for few, including myself) However, when choosing a coat for the season, keep in mind the style, your body type, fit, and functionality.

My number one rule when coat shopping is to stay open minded. It might look terrible on the hanger, but looks amazing on you and vice versa.

You found a coat that you absolutely love, but its two sizes too big? Keep your options open, tailoring is your friend.

If it's your first time purchasing a coat/jacket, ALWAYS start off with something simple and black BUT classic. A coat that 's been around for years, speaks volumes. I decided to put together a collage with the main focus being the call of the style coat sold at modcloth.com I love the printed striped down the middle, and that toggle effect that it gives off. I decided to pair it with distressed jeans, a splash of tartan and trusty Louboutins. Accessories to sass up the look and VOILA!

So fall worthy don't you think?
