Bumble~Bee

Hey Yall, I'm sitting under my comforter sipping on some hot Chocolate whipped cream and marshmallows sprinkled with a bit of cinnamon on top! Mmmmmm. It's freezing outside so there's no place else I'd rather be right now! I'm usually not really into the holiday festivities too much, but this year I really do feel like entertaining! Let's see what happens!
I'm thinking, black, silver and white for the table decor! All kinds of crazy things are running through my head right now! I'm a very creative person, and decor would have to be my absolute most favorite thing to do! So I feel like the black Martha Stewart LOL Im going nuts with all the Christmas decor in the house, but I'm actually loving the outcome, and how it changes up the mood in the house! I love coming home to a lit Christmas tree, and the smell of fresh pine! Let"s just say I'm definitely enjoying my decor!
What I'm wearing: Marshall's top, clutch Old Navy vest, forever 21 skirt. accessories, necklace,  Zigi: booties,
Anywho I'm not going to bore you any longer with my talking! Let's talk hot topic!
xoxo Ty

HOT TOPIC

So I'm sure a lot of us women are guilty of doing this!

Question: Have you ever been to a salon where you were extremely dissapointed with the outcome of your hairstyle? Instead of saying something you bite your tongue, pay the bill and promise to never set foot back there again!

Are you the silent type? or do you speak up?

Answer: Me personally, because I learnt and knew how to do hair from a young age, I never had those visits to the salon! However, I remembered sitting between my moms legs for hours getting my hair braided (you know black folk style) lol and there was lots of times when I hated my hairstyles but I had no choice but to go with the flow! Wouldn't dare argue with mom if i knew what was good for my behind! LOL  However I think its a whole different story when you're paying money especially lots of it not to get your hair done the way you wanted!

  2. yes im the silent type cause i just dont think it worth the hassle their not going to let you go without paying and if you messed it up the first time im not gonna chance you wasting more of my time with a redo i usually go home and do damage control but nowadays i just do my hair myself its tedious but ill only have my self to blame and money still in my pocket

  11. I love this outfit and your hair. As for the hot topic, I am learning to speak up, I used to just bite my tongue and pretend to like it but that's a waste of money.

I love to decorate the house too and when it comes to christmas the keyword for me is overstuff!
About the hot topic, It's difficult for me to say that I hate my hairstyle and I think it's incredible how a good or bad do at the salon can ruin or lift your day.

  18. I see those booties are getting a lot of play, as they should, cuz they are gorgeous honey! you better werk!
I am definitely not the type to bite my tongue. I also hate when beauticians turn your chair around so you can't see yourself or what they're doing in the mirror. I wanna see what's going on and control the damage when I still have a chance! It's all about communication though... I let my stylist know exactly what I want and ask her how she's going to do that, if it sounds right to me, I let her proceed.

  19. I am sipping hot chocolate and eating a donut as I type. I love your outfit. The olive vest really sets off your look in a great way and of course the nlack and yellow is awesome. I love your arm candy too! Ok, now on to the hot topic. Yes, I have experienced bad styling at the hair salon and when I used to speak up, they would take it out on my hair. Or, I would always get this from a stylist: "you need a trim" Translation, "Let me chop all of your hair off" LOL. Thank goodness I have not had those expsriences in a long time.

  20. Love the look and I'm forever swooning over those Zigi booties of yours...Girl do I remember a few times having hairdresser disappointment. I've always done my own hair as well but on a few occasions, I went and I was disappointed. I've been on both sides. Paying and keeping silent, but also speaking up. Everytime I spoke up, it wasn't a good outcome. The stylist became offended. Oh well, Thats why I do my own hair and my girls too.. If you pay your money, you should get satisfaction right?? Lol..

  21. You look great! In the past I was the one to keep quiet but now I am the one who would tell them I don't like my hair.

  22. First...I Love this outfit! Love it! I really heart that vest...it is a great remixing piece.

Next, Yes I have been guilty of HATING my hair but still paying. I usually am seething and grinding my teeth and will immediately go and wash it out. ANDDD I've been silly enough to go back! LOL...hence another reason I went natural...I hated being the salons!

  23. YES!!! Another cold weather blogger to get inspiration from! I live in Minnesota and sometimes it gets hard for me to stay fashionable and keep warm! lol! Very nice outfit! Love the casualness that the vest brings to it.

Yes, I have left a salon unhappy and just never gone back. But I have also voiced my dislike for a "do" and paid only half price, after I gave the chance to fix it and it was still not what I asked for.

  26. I love the casual look with the pearls, hot look. To answer the question: I once had such a bad hair do and two of the other stylist came up to me when I said something to the manager and said " Oh, she messed your hair up good!" Needless to say I did not pay.
